Mark your calendars because Mitchells first official Carbon Free Day is happening on Monday 29th April 2024! But don’t worry, as a Mitchells customer you don’t have to do a single thing. We’ll do all the hard work for you.
In February our Carbon Co-Op members offset 32.7 tonnes of carbon from 20,600 miles of deliveries. We offset the carbon emissions on their behalf through Ecologi renewable programs and we also planted 175 trees in their names.
What is Mitchells Carbon Free Day?
To celebrate the amazing carbon offsetting work we have done so far both within Mitchells and for our customers, we decided to celebrate and help our customers too.
On Monday 29th April, we will offset all of the CO2 produced by your deliveries and invest in renewable projects in your name.
What’s the catch?
Sounds too good to be true? We’re passionate about creating a more sustainable future and helping our customers.
We’re taking care of the CO2 footprint from your deliveries. We’ll be offsetting it for you, and you’ll be able to see the positive impact visually on your own Ecologi page.
It’s a win-win for the planet and for you!
I don’t have an Ecologi page
It’s super easy and free to sign up and create an Ecologi page in your company name, where we will upload the impact of your deliveries.
You don’t have to do anything else, except enjoy showing your customers and team the difference you have made.
To create your Ecologi page please contact sales@mitchellsofmansfield.com and we will send you a link to create your free page. Once set up send us a link to your page and we will associate it with our Carbon Co-Op page.

What if I’m already a Carbon Co-Op member?
Then you can sit back and relax as Mitchells will do the heavy lifting and your deliveries will automatically be offset by us on the day.
What if I’m not a Mitchells customer?
You’re welcome to open an account with us, and whatever deliveries you send on the 29th of April with us will be carbon compensated.

What if I want to continue to offset all our deliveries?
Once you’ve seen the impact you can make daily through our Carbon Co-Op, there’s a high chance you’ll want to carry on.

Am I getting tied into something?
You can use our Carbon Free Day for just the day or you can decide to join us regularly by offsetting your carbon footprint through our Carbon Co-Op. There’s no catch.
Our main aim is to create a sustainable future in our industry. We want to help as many businesses as possible to do the same. Our Carbon Free Day will be an annual event and if you created a page with us the year prior we will continue to add the free benefits to your page every year on Carbon Free Day.
