It’s important to us to leave a lasting, positive impact on our world – that’s both the community we’re based in and our industry.
Mitchells is committed to off-setting carbon emissions and being a leader in making the palletised distribution industry greener. We’ve partnered with Ecologi to help make this happen.
Our local community matters. That’s why our whole team gets involved with local projects throughout the year to support the people and charities that are making a difference in Nottingham and beyond.
We’ve been supporting the Nottingham Hospitals Charity for a number of years. Take a look at the impact the charity is making in the local area.
We’re also supporting Drone to Home, which is a UK-based charity that uses thermal drone technology for search and rescue operations of lost dogs, with the ultimate goal of reuniting them with their families.
The organisation is dedicated to serving the community by bringing comfort and peace of mind to pet owners who have lost their furry friends.
We have also signed the Armed Forces Covenant, proudly supporting those who serve or have served, in the military and their families. We believe those that serve should be treated with fairness and respect and have access to the same products and services as any other citizen.
We are proud to support these charities and organisations, as we share their principles and aspirations, and believe that supporting such causes aligns with our own family values here at Mitchells.
Our people are our most important asset, and we’re proud to be part of the palletised freight industry. We believe in progression and positive change; by investing in the latest equipment, we can make sure our team can always carry out their work as safely as possible.
We make our decisions on technology and equipment that will reduce our environmental impact, too. We want to set the benchmark for the palletised freight market, with a sustainable business built on trust, sincerity and responsibility.
